If there is one band on the road today that continues to consistently up the ante in the visuals department, it’s Muse. In fact, their new stage construction is so gigantic, it blocked MTV’s outgoing broadcast signal during this month’s Rock Am Ring festival in Germany.

Muse are an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, England, formed in 1994. They are one of the biggest touring acts in the world right now – but even I just saw them for the very first time only a few weeks ago. They have a HUGE sound and and incredible stage show. Their primary genres are progressive rock, space rock, and alternative rock, but they also integrate parts of electronica, indie rock, rock opera. the band have cited artists such as Queen, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Primus, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Depeche Mode, The Cure and The Smiths as musical influences.

Check out some of these shots I took at the Prudential center while shooting for the Bowery Presents.
