It was an honor and a thrill to photograph Margot inside the magnificent Temple Emanu-El, one of the most stunning Temples in all of New York. She read from the Torah brilliantly and before long was celebrating at the St. Regis Hotel later that night. The room shimmered in springtime aqua and orange designed by Stone Kelly. Total Entertainment ensured the party was non-stop and Gourmet Advisory produced the wonderful event. I’d like to thank Nathaniel Johnston who produced some beautiful images as my wing man that night.

Amazing night out with the family dancing to Rihanna. Thank you to Allison at Live Nation for the call to shoot the show and Stephanie, aka New York Fashion Hunter for setting us all up to see the show in style. Here’s a peek at the 2013 Tulane Beads on Broadway Gala at Pier 60 with Trombone Shorty. Tulane University’s fifth anniversary Beads on Broadway featuring Tulane President’s Medal Recipient and Grammy®-nominated Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue was on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Pier 60 – Chelsea Piers in New York City. Our 2013 annual Mardi Gras Gala was a spectacular event with reception, cocktails, dancing and all things good about Tulane and New Orleans. Thank you to Byron Kantrow and his team, President Scott Cowen, the Jeffrey A. Altman Foundation, Elyse Luray, Beth & Michael Fascitelli and the wonderful sponsors for their enduring support of our beloved city.
Troy Andrews is an internationally recognized musician who has made a commitment to paying it forward by lending a hand to the next generation. Tulane is extremely proud of the partnership between the Trombone Shorty Foundation and the New Orleans Center for the Gulf South at Tulane to teach young musicians the rich musical traditions of the region.

Thank you so much to Matthew David Celebrations for inspiring this blog post on the use of eco-friendly and reusable creative ideas to adorn your wedding.
In honor of Earth Day 2013, here’s a look at a gorgeous Charleston, South Carolina wedding at the legendary River House at Lowndes Grove Plantation which featured many reusable eco-friendly details.
From the 100% cotton aisle runner, to the southern wicker fans to the sustainable Chuppah design and floral arrangements, the entire event oozed southern charm made of all-natural matrials. Here’s more:
– Vintage wood clothing pins were used to hold family photographs in front of simple eco-friendly white fabric
– Table seating arrangements were “written” on an old brass doorframe’s window panes vs. a traditional throw-away paper placecard
– The decades-old chairs were made from the same family of wood as the 200 year-old oaks under which they sit
– Recycled glass water pitchers and glassware adorned the rustic wooden tables.
Lowndes Grove sits proudly along the banks of the Ashley River in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina.

Hi-fives were given out in spades and this party was a major league good time. From an incredibly adorable Jordana and their super fun family (never left the dance floor) to their wild and crazy extended family (cue the “Party Animal” tank tops [scroll down the end]), this party had it all. The event space Center548 was transformed by JesGordon’s team into a neon Jungle that lit up after dark.
At the end of each party, I have to pinch myself for the amazing fun my team and I have doing what we do. This past Saturday night was one of those nights where you felt you were right there celebrating instead of working.
Total Entertainment was relentlessly funky on Saturday night, ensuring the beats were nonstop. The artsy twist on food design came from Pinch whose creations had to be seen to be believed – pizza on hooks! Thank you to my team Paolo, Mark, Bret and Davitt – and a big hearty congratulations to Jordana and her family!

The newly renovated Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall inside the Museum of Natural History was transformed into the most elegant dinner party you can imagine. Guests were sipping cocktails in the Hall of North American Mammals with striking dioramas as their background. Hilarious speeches and dancing in this fabulous space completed an unforgettable night. Dejuan Stroud’s designs morphed the room into a cozy casbah-influenced grand living room. Total Entertainment rocked the party and Gourmet Advisory’s incredible team ensured every last detail of the party was “better than the guests highest expectations.”
