Summertime Bright-Eyed Beauties
Here’s a collection of stunning bright-eyed beauties from a recent fun session in the park. This foursome all have incredible eyes. Had to share.

The great Clay Blackmore taught me how to photograph everyone – but I also like to photograph everything. So when my buddy Peter Shapiro (entrepeneur behind the Brooklyn Bowl and The Capitol Theater) asked me to capture his lower east side venture with Co-Founder/Creative Director Aleah Speranza, I was psyched to capture the psychedelic Hoodie Shop with my lens. The Hoodie Shop specializes in clothing with hoods, but the vibe is more fantasy hang-out than traditional boutique. While I was photographing the store, Aleah cranked up a vintage Black Keys concert on the video screen and amped up the sound system – creating the perfect downtown throwback vibe. You have to check it out and pick up some super-hip hoodies for your next party. Learn more about The Hoodie Shop here and check out the pix – enjoy!
It was an all-star cast for last week’s Saturday Nat Live featuring Nathalie as the host of her incredible Bat Mitzvah. The Trump National Golf Club was the stage and the set was impeccably designed in fresh, fun and funky New York style by Ed Libby. The Havdallah service under a canopy of pink roses and cherry blossoms was simply beautiful.
Then, as the sun set, the room became electrified in royal blue and the black mirror-like dance floor was a non-stop super-charged party thanks to the team at Total Entertainment and Melissa Rosenbloom and her incredible team at Gourmet Advisory who produced the phenomenal event.
We started the project with a photo session in the studio to create the SNL host portraits that decorated the room. I’m thrilled to deliver these images for Nathalie’s family. Mazel Tov!!!
Tom Petty Live At the Beacon Theater
Thomas Mars, lead singer of the Paris, France based band Phoenix, sets the Apollo Theater ablaze with an intense in-crowd performance of “Ignition!” Thank you to my good friend Rob Sobel for making the 7th row center a magical place to be for the night, and thank you to Rolling Stone for publishing this cool shot.
A mother’s day hike is a tradition in our family. We love the fresh mountain air, the precious time to talk with the family (no cell phones!!!) and just laughing and having fun. The steep journey to the top of Bear Mountain rewarded us with stunning views of the Hudson. I took more photos with my infrared camera which I’m loving so much these days. I just love the look of these images. Happy Mother’s day!
This was a super stealth show for a very select few Mastercard invitation winners. The energy inside Roseland Ballroom tonight was explosive.
JT brought his A-Game and his 11 man Tennessee Kids band to raise the roof with songs from his incredible new album, 20/20 Experience. The VIP balcony was filled with celebs and Mastercard took care of the drinks all night. Thank you Rolling Stone for publishing one of my photos. I can’t thank the team at LiveNation enough for a truly “priceless” evening!
The excellent photography resource website SLR Lounge ran this story featuring my post-processing technique on these images:
Emily’s Bat Mitzvah had the special honor of taking place at the very start of Spring here in NYC. The flowers began to bloom in Central Park and we made some beautiful photographs to kick off everyone’s favorite season. Emily can dance and sing every bit as good as take a good photo – and her dance party at 404 proved it. Look out for her brother Jared – who’s got moves like Jagger for sure. Mazel Tov to Emily and her beautiful family!
