I LOVE Applause New York City. I think its hands-down the best young performing arts program in New York and the quality of the performances is simply stellar. HAIR tells the story of the “tribe”, a group of politically active, long-haired hippies of the “Age of Aquarius” living a bohemian life in New York City and fighting against conscription into the Vietnam War. It’s refreshing to see the 9-12 graders perform this mature content. Here are my highlighted photographs from last week’s performance.
